About

I improved my credit scores by an average of 140 points in just over 30 days, for about $5 in envelopes and stamps, a few hours worth of research, and about an hour's worth of work.

The few hours of research seemed far too long, as I couldn't find all of the information in any one place. I documented what I did on this website, so I could pass it to my friends, free of charge.

I'm not a professional, and take no liability for the process. Done wrong, it can hurt your credit. Heck, it might slash your tires, change your locks, and kick a puppy.

If you give it a try, let me know, so I can update the instructions to be more helpful to others, and I'll drop a note about it in the blog. Click on the Get Started tab above to get going.

I didn't wind up using them, but nonprofit consumer credit counseling services might be worth a look as well. Take a good read around the net, as the industry isn't without it's problems. Basically, they're going to help you pay the debts you still owe, whereas this site can help you work out debts that are already closed, for better or worse.

The Google Ads over on the right? They're mostly irony. I'm telling you how to improve your credit for free. If you want to pay a professional, there are any number of services out there, but please be careful. The Federal Trade Commission points out that "Self Help May Be Best".
